Q: CAN I GET A CATALOG OF THE WEDDING GOWNS YOU CARRY?

A: Sorry, it’s impossible for FORMALS to publish a catalog. This is because our styles and the wedding gowns we have available can change daily. Most other bridal stores carry the same styles for an entire season or longer so it’s easy for them to publish a catalog. At FORMALS we have ONE full time employee and 6 part time (Katy & CREW) who’s only job is unpacking Wedding gowns & Prom gowns. A gown that is in the store today will probably not be here next week.

YOU can view a sampling of our bridal, prom and bridesmaid gowns in our photo gallery. However we have hundreds and hundreds of gowns here in our store. The gowns pictured on our website are just a SMALL fraction of the styles available at the store.

Q: ARE ALL THE WEDDING GOWNS AT FORMALS BRIDAL “IN STOCK” AND READY TO TAKE HOME RIGHT AWAY IF I WANT TO?

A: Yes!! At FORMALS Bridal we average approximately 800 wedding gowns in stock from sizes 2 to 30. SOME gowns are available for Special Order (but it CAN take up to 6 months for your gown to arrive, and cost more) It should be noted that even these styles could also change on a regular basis so if you see a dress you love; we recommend you buy it right away.

We prefer our BRIDAL customers to have an appointment so we can provide them with the exquisite customer service our reputation demands. We like to treat each of our guests with one-on-one personal service and devote our full attention to helping our customers find the perfect Bridal gown and help them make informed decisions when it comes to style, fit and cost. Making an appointment will insure that our consultants are properly prepared and staffed to meet your needs. Also we discourage people from buying off-the-rack without proper consultation, as sizes vary greatly between each designer and often there is no return option available.

PROM: PROM customers do NOT need and appointment.

BRIDESMAIDS:

Bridesmaid gowns are available for try on by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call 1-888-324-4513 for a Bridesmaid Appointment.

NO walk-ins will be accepted for Bridesmaids on Weekends.

Bridesmaid appointments can NOT be scheduled with a bridal appointment.

Bridesmaid Appointments are for 1 1/2 hours ONLY. When you have chosen the bridesmaid gown you wish to order and are ready to make your down payment, each bridesmaid will need to pay min. of $100.00 down to get measured and ordered. NO measurements can be taken until payment has been made.

WALK-INS:

While we will not turn away walk-ins, please understand that our first priority is to customers with appointments and we may not be able to give you our highest level of service at that given moment. If you happen to be in the area and wish to browse our store to get a feel for our selection, please do so, and then make an appointment to return and get the royal treatment you deserve. Our top priority is your satisfaction and we want you to walk out with the gown of your dreams that makes you look your best.

Q: WHERE CAN I GET ALTERATIONS?

A: Since some form of alterations are necessary for most gowns, may we recommend Alterations A-Z. They are a full service alteration shop and are conveniently located just one door down from Formals of Litchfield.
